In the event of tropical cyclones, typhoons or rainstorms, the school's policy is to follow instructions given by the relevant authorities. If extreme weather occurs, please refer to the following tables that explain our school procedures.

What happens when the signal is raised 2 HOURS before school starts:

Typhoon 3 - All classes will remain in session with regular dismissal times.

Typhoon 8 and above - School is closed. All classes will be cancelled - no make-up lessons will be provided and no refunds will be issued.

Amber Rainstorm - All classes will remain in session with regular dismissal times.

Red Rainstorm - School is closed. All classes are cancelled - no make-up lessons will be provided and no refunds will be issued.

What we do when the signal is raised DURING school hours:

Typhoon 1 - All classes will remain in session with regular dismissal times.

Typhoon 3 - All classes will remain in session with regular dismissal times.

Typhoon 8 and above - All classes will be dismissed immediately - no make-up lessons will be provided and no refunds will be issued. The notice of typhoon 8 signal being raised is given to schools several hours before it is actually hoisted, thus allowing schools enough time to make arrangements to get students home safely.

Amber Rainstorm - All classes will remain in session with regular dismissal times.

Red Rainstorm - All classes will remain in session with regular dismissal times and students will remain in school until conditions are safe for them to return home.

Black Rainstorm - All classes will be dismissed immediately - no make-up lessons will be provided and no refunds will be issued. The notice of typhoon 8 signal being raised is given to schools several hours before it is actually hoisted, thus allowing schools enough time to make arrangements to get students home safely.
